Air Plant (tillandsia)
Air plants (or tillandsia) are epiphytes, meaning that in their natural habitat, they will grow on other plants rather than rooting in soil. They take in water and nutrients through their leaves, so you can display them any way you like; whether it's on your bookshelf or hanging from the ceiling in a terrarium.
To care for your air plants, put them in a spot which gets bright but indirct light, and water them every one or two weeks (depending on the weather) by soaking them in room temparature water for 20 minutes.
