Immensely popular in recent years due to their easy-going natures and unique structural shapes, these mini cacti will look great alone or grouped together in an arrangement in your home.
Cacti vary wildly in size, shape, and colouring, but are united by their distinctive spines and ability to endure harsh conditions, making them perfect for busy or forgetful plant lovers. There are nearly 2 thousand species of cacti native to the Americas, reaching from British Columbia and Alberta all the way south into Argentina and Chile. But it’s Mexico of course that has the greatest number and array of species.
In the wild a cactus can live for hundreds of years - luckily they’re slightly less of a commitment as a houseplant, though they can still survive for 10+ years with the right care. Cacti thrive on neglect, so as long as you water infrequently and keep them somewhere sunny, they’ll be happy!
